Tiffany Schultz, MSW, LMSW, CAADC

 I believe that each person's journey is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of my clients, drawing from both my professional experience and insights gained from having been on the client side of the therapeutic relationship as well. I have extensive experience with adults and children. My early experiences as a detox counselor and an outpatient therapist for adults with substance use disorders taught me the value of treating individuals seeking help with an unconditional positive regard and showed me the power of a strong relationship between therapist and client. It also taught me about the factors that contribute to building and maintaining resilience in the face of adversity and histories of trauma. I have been honored to walk alongside fellow human beings in their journeys to the center of their heart and mind and have witnessed transformational change. 

I graduated with a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University with a focus in cognitive behavioral theory and mental health. I also received my certification in advanced alcohol and drug counseling, or CAADC, which I maintain through continuing education along with my social work license through the state of Michigan. As a lifelong seeker of knowledge, I am grateful to continue my journey through EMDR training. 

In my practice today, utilizing a holistic and trauma-informed approach, I aim to create a safe, compassionate environment where individuals can explore their challenges and uncover their strengths. Whether working with adults or children, I prioritize understanding each client’s unique circumstances to foster healing and growth.
